October 27, the Third Dalian Senior Calligraphy and Painting Competition began at Dalian Library. The competition was jointly organized by Dalian Committee on Ageing, Dalian Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Dalian Evening News. Hao Ming, deputy mayor, and Bian Guosheng, a former leader were in attendance at the event.
